Pear & Bleu Cheese Green Salad

  • 1 Bartell pear, sliced
  • 3/4 c. crumbled bleu cheese
  • 3/4 c. walnut halves, toasted
  • 8 large Romaine leaves, torn
  • Dressing:
  • 1/4 c. olive oil
  • 1/4 c. cider vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 5 large basil leaves, minced
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1 T honey
Methods/steps
  1. Tear the lettuce leaves and mix together with pear, cheese, and walnuts in a large bowl. In a jar or small bowl, whisk together the dressing ingredients. Pour over salad and toss.
Additional Tips
Dress to taste. You may decide not to use all the dressing.
