Cranberry - lemon Pecan Stuffed French Toast

Description

This will become a family favorite - don't tell anyone but this is easy enough for weekday breakfast.

12 slices of cranberry pecan bread

1 cup egg beatersĀ 

1 T fat free milk

Cinnamon

Cream Cheese

Lemon Curb

Pecan halves

Powdered sugar &/or maple syrup

Cooking Spray

 

Methods/steps
  1. Spread cream cheese on one slice of bread
  2. Spread lemon curd on the other slice of bread
  3. Sprinkle with pecans
  4. Then put the two slices together to make a sandwich
  5. Whisk egg beaters, milk and cinnamon together until combined
  6. Dip french toast sandwiches into egg batter
  7. Spray a skillet with cooking spray
  8. Cook over medium high heat until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  9. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or serve with maple syrup.
