  • 3/4 c butter
  • 1 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 2 c chocolate chips
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 c flour
  • 1 1/4 t baking soda
  • 3-4 packages of Andes mints
Methods/steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 350.
  2. Melt butter and brown sugar in a saucepan over low heat. Add chocolate chips and stir until melted; put mixture into a bowl and let cool.
  3. Add eggs, then mix in flour and baking soda. Chill dough for 1 hour. Roll into balls and place on baking sheets. Bake for 9 minutes. Remove cooking from the oven and place an Andes mint on the top of each one. While the candy melts, use a knife to spread it across the top of the cookie in a swirl.
