  • 1 diced medium onion
  • 1 small can diced ortega chili
  • 1 1-lb can diced tomatoes
  • 1 1-lb. velveeta cheese cut up in 1-inch cubes
  • 1 bag tortilla chips
Methods/steps
  1. Saute onion in 2-3 T. butter
  2. Add diced chilis
  3. Drain liquid from tomatoes and add tomatoes to mixture
  4. Add cubes of cheese and cook until cheese is melted
Additional Tips
This dip works well in the small crock pots that will keep the cheese melted at a low temperature. If you don't have the small crock pot, you can take it to the microwave for a quick re-warm. It's fast, easy and is always a hit with friends!
