Apple Truffle & Roasted Garlic Pizza
Description This is a great grown-up tasting pizza.

1 prepared pizza crust (available in groceries dry and refrigerated shelves) for every 2 people

heavy duty tin foil

Truffle Oil

Roasted Garlic (packaged or fresh)

Fresh sage or dried Italian seasoning

1/2 apple per pizza

Gorgonzola cheese

Italian cheese blend

Pine nuts

Red pepper flakes

 

Methods/steps
  1. Place crusts on tin foil
  2. Brush pizza crusts with truffle oil
  3. Squeeze several cloves of garlic over the crust and spread evenly
  4. Slice apples thinly and place on the pizza in a single layer
  5. Sprinkle with fresh sage or Italian seasonings
  6. Cover with Gorgonzola and Italian cheese blend 
  7. Sprinkle with pine nuts
  8. Place pizza on the tin foil directly on the grill or grate 
  9. Cook until cheese bubbles and browns
  10. Be careful no to burn the bottom of the crust
Additional Tips
Roast the garlic over the campfire for a great fresh addition.  It's simple to do - drizzle the garlic with wrap in tin foil and either place over the coals or on a grate.
