Rainbow Trout and Jolly Rancher Vodka

Rainbow trout is a delicious spring cooking treat. It posses a great opportunity to enjoy fishing and a great cuisine to enjoy. Here is a great way to enjoy freshly caught trout. In addition, you can try making some homemade Jolly Rancher Vodka to accompany your delicious dish.

Pan-Fried Rainbow Trout Recipe

You will need:
Fresh Rainbow Trout
Flour
Butter
Salt and Pepper
Lemon

Start by cleaning and filleting your freshly caught fish. After the trout is clean, mix flour and salt and pepper to taste and lightly batter the fish in the flour. Put the butter in a non-stick skillet. When the butter is starting to bubble. Place the fish in the hot butter and fry at medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes and the fish is just starting to flake. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with a lemon wedge.

Jolly Rancher Vodka

Vodka is a relatively good alcohol to infuse with different flavors. One great and fun option is the Jolly Rancher. There are plenty of Jolly Rancher flavors, which can make a variety of Vodka flavors.

You will need:
Bottle of vodka
12 jolly ranchers per flavor, for 1 liter of vodka
1 8.5 ounce flask per flavor

Start by taking the wrappers off of the jolly ranchers and placing each flavor into a flask. You don't have to make each flavor if you would prefer not to. Then fill the flasks with vodka. As time passes the Jolly Ranchers will dissolve and the flavor will be infused with the candy flavor. Allow the vodka and candy to sit for at least 12 hours to allow the flavors to infuse. Next enjoy the vodka chilled!
